  B. Good is a patient, experienced, calm-assertive pack leader who loves all animals. My experience stems from a lifetime of living with and observing dogs. Before I studied dog psychology, I learned how to deal with several different types of behaviors with my own dogs. Everything from dog/people aggression to excessive barking. Without even realizing it, I was building my foundation in dog behavior. As time passed, I grew extremely fascinated by the Pit Bull Terrier. Their strength, tenacity, athleticism, intelligence, but most of all, their loyalty.
Although I've always been strongly against dog fighting, I wasn't oblivious to it. When you've lived in cities like Norwalk, CT, Harlem, NY, Baltimore MD and Atlanta, GA, evidence of dog fighting is all around you. When you love dogs as much as I do, it ripped my heart open to see the condition that some of these dogs were in. From that point on, I became an advocate for the breed, and I was determined to show how great that this breed is! My goal is to help as many dogs as possible. I wanted to change the public perception of this dog as a vicious monster. In addition, I wanted to also change the culture in regards to backyard breeding and dog fighting.

I spent the next several years studying different breeds and bloodlines, dog psychology and behavior, as well as traditional training. I wanted to learn as much about dogs as possible. However, my most valuable skills weren't aquired by reading books. They were gained by surrounding myself with dogs constantly. Observing, studying, and playing with them as often as I could. I learned how they communicate with each other. I learned how to harness my natural assertiveness to project leadership, from people like Cesar Milan. If a dog fight erupted at the park, my natural instinct was to jump right in and break it up. Most of the time it wasn't even my dogs fighting. That was how I got known as Half Man Half Pit. People not only saw how I silently communicated with my pack, but also how other aggressive dogs to whom I was a stranger, seemed to always give me respect. Everyone said I was a dog translator, helping them to understand dogs' body language to communicate better. They said I had to be "Half Pit". As word spread around town, the name stuck.
